I haven’t watched this show since I was really little - I used to have this trick where I’d put a blanket over my whole body to hide & pretend I was sleeping.  There was this tiny cigarette-burned hole I could peek out at…this & Beavis & Butthead were the forbidden fruits I got away with eating as a lil’ one & will hold a special place in my heart forever.  My parents’ language & general goings-on were far more offensive than those shows so I never understood why they weren’t allowed.  I needed the escape I needed to see how bad words/people could be laughed at & I was (am) addicted to the sneakiness, to getting what I want, to being “naughty”.  So I wouldn’t say I’m a Bundy junkie but, this image really speaks to me in a way, & now I really want to watch the show again but it might bring back bad shit…
