INTELLECTUAL, LEARN TO DIE!!

Here’s some early character sketches for the coloring book project I started in the Spring of 2009 called Cheer Up, Seerup!.  I was really into the juxtaposition of sweet lolita fashion/culture with shitting & gluttony & debauchery.  I was also trying to emulate the crisp round lines in the coloring books I remember obsessing over as a child, but since have come to hate the computer-clean look of it & the stress it put on my joints.  There are only a few pages left to ink; I will finish it eventually but right now I need to be messy.

(Seerup the bunny-girl is essentially a self-portrait, so don’t get upset about the “slut” thing)
