It’s from her comic Dirty Plotte which includes a dream she had about Nick Cave (a really funny dream).
Was lucky enough to find a Dirty Plotte comic at a comic convention in South Milwaukee yesterday for a quarter!! Didn’t even open it till today and on the first page is a drawing of her at a Nick Cave show; few pages later she’s seeing Kembra Pfhaler…either Doucet’s like my soulmate or something or I am just completely typical/predictable/cliche
We were performing “King Ink” and I was playing the snare drum and Nick lurched over in a very overexcited state and started throwing his head up and down like he used to do. Then he just pushed me out of the way and started beating his head on the snare drum really hard. He didn’t even know he was doing it. The snare drum was soon covered in his blood. This disturbed the security and the management and they quickly decided that this was really unsavoury entertainment and not fit for public consumption.
